The PNU South Luzon Community welcomed members of the Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office IV for the On-site Inspection and Evaluation as part of the campus’ application for Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for its new Bachelor in Elementary Education with concentration on Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan and Technology and Livelihood Education (BEEd EPP/TLE) Program last May 5, 2026.

The Executive Director and Provost, Dr. Amor F. Loniza, together with the Director for Research, Extension, Quality Assurance, and Development, Assoc. Prof. Aaron Jed Y. Tumbali, the Dean for Academics and the Hub, Dr. Roel V. Avila, and the Director for Administration, Finance, and Planning, Engr. Dandy V. Surio, formally welcomed the RQAT members composed of Dr. Edilberto Z. Andal, from the Laguna State Polytechnic University-San Pablo, and Dr. Vanessa C. Zubieta, from the Southern Luzon State University-Lucban, to the campus. They are also joined online by Dr. Corazon M. Flores, Education Supervisor II from the CHED Regional Office IV.

The visit was conducted to evaluate the campus’ readiness to offer its new BEEd EPP/TLE Program as part of its application for COPC issuance. The RQAT conducted an in-depth review of the new program’s curriculum, faculty qualifications, physical and library facilities, laboratories, and availability of learning resources to ensure compliance with CHED standards and guidelines for program implementation.

The successful visit forms part of PNU South Luzon’s continuing commitment to compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance as a premier Teacher Education Institution (TEI) in the region.
