Program Description

The Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Agri-Fishery Arts (BTLEd-AFA) is a four-year undergraduate teacher education program designed to prepare future educators to teach Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) with a strong specialization in Agri-Fishery Arts. The program integrates content mastery in specializations within Agriculture and Fishery Arts (AFA) sector such as crop and animal production, aquaculture, fish capture, food and beverage processing, and agri-entrepreneurship, with evidence-based teaching strategies, curriculumdevelopment, and classroom management techniques suited to the Agri-Fishery Arts context.

The Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Home Economics (BTLEd- HE) is a dynamic undergraduate teacher education program designed to prepare future-ready educators who are technically skilled, pedagogically grounded, and industry responsive. The program equips students with adequate and relevant competencies to effectively teach TLE exploratory courses from Grades 7 to 10, in alignment with 21st-century learning demands. As a progressive transition from OBTEC 2.0, the revised BTLEd-HE program affirms PNUSL’s commitment to excellence and innovation in teacher preparation.

Bachelor in Mathematics and Science Elementary Education (BMSEE)

Program Description

The Bachelor of Mathematics and Science Elementary Education program is a special and innovative elementary education program that aims to produce elementary teachers who are highly competent in teaching mathematics and science in the elemntary grades, particularly in the intermediate levels and in science-oriented elementary schools. As a program that develops elementary teachers with specializations in mathematics and science, BMSEE is the first of its kind in the country.
